Machine Service includes:
1) Hook timing
(includes hook height, removal of burrs on the hook, and adjustment of
hook to needle gap)
2) Feed system
timing (includes setting feed dog height, as well as adjustment and
lubrication of stitch length block, plus setting the "0"
stitch length and stitch length balance)
3) Check and
adjust tensions (includes cleaning tension assembly, bobbin case
and calibrating tensions for both sewing and embroidery settings)
4) Calibrate and
clean touch screen as needed
5) Check and
adjust upper and lower shaft tolerances
6) Check, clean
and adjust both manual and automatic thread cutters
7) Check and
adjust check spring (includes cleaning)
8) Check motor,
motor brushes and clean motor
9) Check and
adjust motor belt tension
10) Check and
adjust timing belt tension
11) Check and
adjust gear mesh (inlcudes cleaning gear teeth)
12) Check and
adjust needle bar height, twist and needle position including
centering the zig zag and end stop position
13) Check and
adjust needle threader
14) Check and
adjust built in walking foot height, position, and length
15) Update sewing
machine firmware (operating software)
16) Check and
adjust side feeding step motor, including balancing side motion
stitching
17) Adjustment of
the needle plate including removing and smoothing burrs from plate
18) Check and
adjust the presser bar twist and presser bar height
19) Check and
adjust bobbin winder stop
20) Check, clean
and adjust bobbin winder release clutch
21) Check, clean
and adjust reverse mechanism
22) Check clean
and adjust pattern mechanism and free up cam followers and linkages

Serger
adjustments include all pertinent sewing machine adjustments as well as:
1) Looper
timings, including height and remove burrs from loopers, plus setting
looper tolerances and looper to needle tolerances

guard needle clearance
3) Adjust cutter
timing and height
5) Adjust looper
thread guides
6) Check and
adjust machine for cover stitch and chain stitch

adjust embroidery unit calibration

adjust hoop sensor as needed
