Jacqueline De Jonge 2020
Have you heard the news? Jacqueline de Jonge is headed back to Prairie Quilt in 2020! Jacqueline De Jonge, award-winning pattern writer and fabric designer, will be joining us from the Netherlands again to teach two sessions. This will be our third year to have Jacqueline to our shop, and we couldn't be more thrilled. She is the designer of some of the most beautiful creations we've ever laid our eyes on, and a marvelous teacher.
Cost for each three-day event is $400. No refunds after January 1, 2020 unless the space can be filled.
BOTH sessions sold out when she visited earlier this year! So we highly suggest registering early! 🎉
Patterns and Quilt kits are available for order on our online shop. Please note, purchasing your pattern and quilt kit from Prairie Quilt is required to attend this event.
February 28th & February 29th 9:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Regular cost: $150
Early Bird Registration: $99
(Ends January 31st)
Learn to create six different projects, plus valuable embroidery tips and techniques to make your projects more successful and less stressful!
What's included? Class CD with all class project handouts and designs, door prizes and giveaways, a goody bag containing project kits for ALL 6 projects, thread and other goodies, a tasty lunch and lots of fun extras!
The challenge encourages quilters to pay tribute to what drives the quilter/sewist/maker to create with their hands, through the creation of a 60” x 60” quilt featuring 80% of the new Tula Pink HomeMade fabrics and using Aurifil threads. The jury, including Tula Pink, will select 12 quilts that speak to the glory, attitude and beauty that comes from the privilege of saying “Hey, I made that.”
The 12 selected quilts will have the chance to be part of the HomeMade Challenge exhibit at the Fall International Quilt Market and Festival in Houston, TX in October 2020, and the opportunity to win over $10,000 in prizes!
When Does It Begin? March - June 30
How Does It Work?
Quilters can submit up to two pieces to their local US or Canada quilt shop. The quilt shop will then select one entrant/quilter to submit to the jury. Click here for all the details!
